Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta will be adding a new state-of-the-art pediatric hospital to the fold after receiving a record $200 million donation from the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation.

The new Arthur M. Blank Hospital will be situated at the northeastern corner of North Druid Hills and I-85 in the Brookhaven area, with a planned opening in 2025. It is reported to be the largest healthcare project in the state of Georgia and will feature one tower with two wings; space for clinical research and trials; 20 acres of greenspace and walking trails; plus playgrounds, playrooms, libraries and more, to allow kids to feel like kids.

In all, this $1.5 billion project will be a boon to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s network of local hospitals; world renown leaders of pediatric healthcare for over 100 years.
