My husband and I were referred to Jill Petersen based on her excellent reputation and her proximity to the area we were looking to relocate in Sandy Springs. We connected with Jill almost immediately as her personality is warm and easy going at the same time she is extremely professional. We relied on Jill to find the perfect neighborhood as we knew very little about the Atlanta area and wanted to find a house that matched our commuting needs as well as our lifestyle. We had a limited time to find a house as we were only in the area for less than week. Jill scheduled showings in a number of different neighborhoods in an efficient way as to maximize the # of houses we could visit. She quickly learned what we liked and didn’t like and refocused our search to those neighborhoods that matched. During the showings she allowed us to form our own opinions but at the same time pointed out certain pluses and minuses. We never felt as though she was pushing us to like or dislike any particular home. We eventually found the perfect the neighborhood and entered into a contract on a house. Jill was there through all the inspections keeping us informed at all times as by then we were back in New Jersey. She was extremely responsive and eager to help out in any way she could. Ultimately we did not move forward with that house due to structural concerns revealed during due diligence. So back to square one. Jill was back in the hunt for us showing us homes remotely via FaceTime and donning gloves and a face mask as Covid 19 restrictions were now in full force. She exuded that same energy and professional throughout. Fortunately we were able to find another house in that same development and successfully closed within 30 days. We used the help of Rachel Ross to sell our home in Smyrna, GA during this winter and she was outstanding. Before choosing her as a real estate agent, we attempted to sell our property without success the past year. Rachel presented herself, Petersen Partners company and her methodology with a strong marketing value and social media presence and I could tell she and her company put a lot of work into their listings with pictures, staging advice and marketing campaigns. I was very impressed with Rachel Ross, and the way she handled the sale of my son's home in Decatur. The efforts she went to in handling each issue that arose on both the buyers and seller side really made the difference in making the sale. We had a wonderful experience with Dan & his team! I interviewed north of 10 agents before ultimately deciding to work with Dan. One of his strongest selling points from my perspective was the attention he gave to technology (let's be honest, buyers use tools like Zillow and Trulia these days!) and they had a whole plan that took advantage of modern technology. When we started working together, Dan (and his whole team) was organized, responsive, and exceedingly professional. We were selling the house from across the country (we live in Michigan) and that was never an issue, largely because they were so tech saavy. They were even willing to learn how to use Asana, my task management system, to coordinate efforts. I don't know that I've met any other professionals (in any profession, frankly) that were willing to adapt their team to our tools (though it is a pretty awesome tool :-) ) During the time the house was being sold, they were quick to respond to buyer feedback, offered me really balanced perspectives (e.g., which feedback should we listen to, which should we table), and followed up quickly with buyers' agents. We had our first offer within a week of listing and, when that fell through, our second within a week after that. Our third offer came a little later, largely because of some additional work we had to do to the house that was revealed upon inspection. Once we got our final offer, it was smooth sailing and we closed within a few weeks. All in, the house was listed for probably around 60 days, though much of that time was absorbed by buyers' diligence, inspections, and the repairs we had to get done. In short, I highly recommend the Petersen Partners. Their team is the epitome of professionalism, competence, and savvy. Give them a chance and they'll exceed your expectations!
