Now through Dec. 24th enjoy the Atlanta Christkindl Market with its German food, beverages, and gifts in a festive atmosphere at Ring Fountain Plaza in Centennial Park.

Now through Jan. 5th, enjoy the Chinese Lantern Festival with its displays depicting 25 kinds of animals, plus Asian food and performers, at Centennial Park.

This Saturday, you and your kids age 3+ can take the KidFitStrong Fitness Challenge, which includes 10 fitness stations (sprinting, push ups, wall crawls, hurdles, jumping jacks, sit ups, climbing, tunnel crawls) in Piedmont Park. Free except for “Xtreme rides” like Bumper Balls.

Tree lighting ceremonies! This Saturday, enjoy kids’ activities, hear live music, visit Santa’s reindeer, watch a parade (7 p.m.), and see the Christmas tree lighting (8 p.m.) during Light the Station at Atlantic Station. Free. OR, this Sunday catch Macy’s Great Tree Lighting Show, which includes pre-show performances at 6:30 p.m., a visit from Santa, and the tree lighting.
