Hey everyone! TGIF! It’s Jill with Petersen Partners | Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in Atlanta.

Today I’m bringing you my top 5 picks of things to do in and around Atlanta.

#5
Holiday Pops, a holiday concert in Marietta, is a holiday concert that features the Georgia Symphony Orchestra and chorus, Santa, sing-along, and special guests. There are two shows (3 PM and 7 PM) at the Marietta Performing Arts Center on Whitlock Avenue. Discount tickets are available on Groupon.

#4
On Friday, December 13, enjoy the Candlelit Christmas at the Atlanta History Center with a walk through candlelit paths to historic houses decorated for the holidays. Plus, enjoy food and drinks for sale at the Candlelight Nights holiday market.

#3
You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout and we're telling you why! Santa is coming to the Buckhead Diner. Enjoy Breakfast with Santa tomorrow or Sunday and get pictures with him and his Northpole friends. Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM and ends at 11 AM.

#2
This Sunday, stretch your legs at the annual Atlanta Jingle Bell Jog 5K. Get decked out in Santa gear and add those Jingle Bells to your shoes as you run through Piedmont Park. Plus, Marines and Santa Clause will be there to accept unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots. The 5K starts at 9 AM and the Mile Fun Run starts at 10 AM.

#1
If you haven’t already, take a ride on the classic Macy’s Pink Pig train ride at Macy’s Lenox Square in Atlanta. This Atlanta tradition has been around for more than 50 years. And did you know that Priscilla, the original Pink Pig, began as a monorail along the ceiling of Rich’s, giving children the experience of “flying over” the toy department? Rides on the Pink Pig will take place until January 5th.

As a bonus, we’re mentioning the Sweets with Santa that is happening at our West Village office tomorrow from 10 am to 1 pm! Bring your kids, grandkids, neighborhood kids, and fur kids and join us for refreshments and pictures with Santa! Check our blog post for more information! OR, come see me between 9:30am and 11am; I’d love to see you!

Have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for watching. See you next week. (Watch us on Facebook every Friday or catch us on IGTV.)
